The Tailor of Buckingham was established in 1993 as a one-man tailoring operation, and was initiated by a need to fill a major gap in the market place, that of actually wearing a garment shortly after purchasing that same garment, by way of an almost immediate tailoring service.

The Tailor of Buckingham – today owned and managed by two brothers, Chad and Darren together with their Dad, John – is a proudly run organisation offering SERVICE, SERVICE & more SERVICE.

After initially only doing alterations and mending from the cottage of a home in Craighall on Buckingham Avenue (hence the name), for a period, Chad persevered and after being invited to a Black-Tie Wedding formed the idea of adding on to the basic foundation of his tailoring business by way of hiring out Dress Suits and Accessories

T.O.B.’s moved from the house to the closest centre, where they still are, 18 years later, today!

T.O.B.’s grew rapidly and didn’t take long to establish itself as THE LEADER in the industry.

From a one Tailor, small run business, T.O.B.’s became the powerful tailoring force it is today, with over 50 staff in 3 branches.

The Tailor of Buckingham has nestled into a lovely niche in the market place, small enough for that personal touch, yet big enough to delivery the best.

In 18 years T.O.B.’s has become the premier Mens Hiring Service in the Country, a leader in its innovation of lifting the industry to a new high with its own Dry Cleaning Plant, Ladies Hire, Kiddies Hire, Sales, Upholstery and Tailor-Made Garments.
