The Tailor of Buckingham, (also known later as T.O.B.'s Dress Suit Hire and Sales) was established in 1993. T.O.B.'s was initiated solely by a need to fill a major gap in the market place – that of actually wearing a garment, shortly after purchasing the same garment, by way of an almost immediate tailoring service.
In April 1997 the “Tailor” introduced Dress Suit Hire and Sales. A year later we introduced (retail) mens outfitting to become the first company to combine retail, with suit hire and complete the circle with suit alterations. Your One Stop Shop.
In March 2002, T.O.B.'s Dress Suit added a very much sought after ladies section, “The Dress Connection” specialising in the hire and sales of Evening Gowns, Matric Dance Dresses, Deb's Ball Dresses and Cocktail Dresses, Wedding Dresses and Bridal gowns just adding to our stable of useful services.
T.O.B.'s caters for both sexes, adults and children including tailor-made garments on request for all the above services.
